Bromo Pre-Dawn by willbl Bromo Pre-Dawn by willbl
Taken while the stars were still visible, just as the sun started to lighten the dawn sky and the spectacular volcanic peaks. The long exposure has blurred the steam rising out of Mt Bromo.

Amazing capture :-)
Do I have to add anything about composition, the colors and the general beauty of this place? I don't think so. Everything's great :-)

Really incredible shot, great choice on the long exposure
However, why didn't you do this with the lighting that you've got of that other shot of this location on your blog? That would've made an absolute stunner of a shot. Don't get me wrong this is still amazing.

Good question. This shot was taken while it was still very dark so it is a 30 second exposure. In the other shot on my blog it was daylight and impossible to get a long enough shutter speed because it was too bright.

You haven't got any NDs?
Ah well, it's still an incredible capture, so I suppose I shouldn't be complaining
